Add a payment method on Meta

Please note: Before sending your first WhatsApp messages via Kanal, you need to associate a payment method on Meta for your WhatsApp number linked to Kanal. Need more help? Follow the procedure below

Add a payment method to Meta

  1. Click on Finish at the end of your Meta onboarding on Kanal

  2. Then click on How do I?

  3. Click on the blue Go to Meta button

  4. If you don't already have the Financial Role on Meta, assign the role to yourself

  5. Click on the Add payment method button (we've included 2 screenshots below which are 2 similar views)

  6. Add your payment by default (important)

  7. Once the payment method has been added to your WhatsApp, return to Kanal

  8. Click on How do I? Then it's done

2 more steps to optimize your Meta account :

  1. Verify your company on Meta (allows + security and allow you to display the name instead of the phone number)

  2. Certify your account on WhatsApp (add a badge next to your brand name and display the brand name instead of the phone number)

Add your payment method
Click on the 3 dots and put your payment method by default
