Your first 14 days on WhatsApp

1. Onboarding

The first step is to be guided through the onboarding process by a member of our team.

Before proceeding to the next steps :

  • Your business manager must be verified with Meta

    • Have you chosen the number suggested by Meta? (+155xx)

      • Your business manager must be verified

      • Your Meta name must be similar to your legal business name (if your shop is Rose and your legal company name is Sample, you can use the display name : Rose by Sample)

    • You have decided to use an external number (example: onoff or Free mobile)

      • You don't have to verify your business to start the account, however you will still be limited to 250 sendings / 24h and the name displayed on the screen will not be visible

  • Your name must be approved by Meta

  • Don't forget to personalize your WhatsApp profile (logo and description on the WhatsApp profile → this will be the profile visible to your customers).

2. My first 7 days

Congratulations, your WhatsApp account is now verified (maybe certified with the blue tick if you have 5 articles on big media, how to certify my account)

  • Activate abandoned cart flow in automations

  • Launch your first campaign on a Shopify or Klaviyo segment of 500 to 1000 contacts

Why launch a campaign in the beginning? WhatsApp logic if by default you are limited to 1k sends per 24h and you want to send more WhatsApp :

  • Send 500 to 1000 outbound WhatsApp → 24 hours later your account will be automatically unlocked to 10000 WhatsApps.

If necessary, iterate to reach the 100k WhatsApp / 24h limit:

  • Send 5k to 10k outgoing WhatsApp, 24h later your account will be automatically unlocked at 100k WhatsApp

— This limit will now be activated for life on the WhatsApp number, useful if you want to send larger campaigns in the future.

  • Tier 1: Messages can be sent to 1,000 unique contacts within 24 hours.

  • Tier 2: Messages can be sent to 10,000 unique contacts within 24 hours.

  • Tier 3: Messages can be sent to 100,000 unique contacts within 24 hours.

  • Tier 4: Messages can be sent to an unlimited number of unique contacts within 24 hours.

3. 7-14 days

If you are on the Scale plan

  • Set up your order confirmation flow (flow in utility = 0.02€ if your contacts are in France / Belgium)

  • Set up your shipping update flow (flow in utility = 0.02€ if your contacts are in France / Belgium)

  • Activate WhatsApp flow optin post optin popup

    • Highlight new benefits offered to your customers. Include an immediate discount or exclusive privilege to enhance their value (e.g. exclusive WhatsApp promo code).

    • Integrate media (images, videos, voice messages, etc.) to boost engagement.
